Teaching Methods of The Teacher
From my observation, the teaching methods used are teacher center. This learning approach in education is that teachers as experts in their fields focus on conveying the transfer of knowledge they have to students. The teacher is in full control during learning as well as the main information provider.
Learning Materials and Innovation
The materials presented to the students is sourced from a text book. Not only sourced from books, teachers also add material from the internet but also need to pay attention to the validity of the internet source. From my observations, my resource teacher always makes topics that is initially complicated become easier for students to understand. Besides that, my resource teacher always relates the topics discussed to daily life so that students can remember well. Also, my resource teacher always gives feedback to students, what are their shortcomings while answering assignments but still pays attention to the words delivered so as not to hurt students and students become more motivated to improve themselves.
Source of Learning and Technology Used
The source of learning can be anything that can be used for teaching, example like a text book. In order for make a meaningful and fun learning, all the sources can be used as long its help teacher to taught the students for make them understand the material. Example of learning sources are text book and internet. The technology my resource teacher uses is usually handphone. He instructs students to watch the video he sent and students watch the video using the handphone to answer the assignments he gave. My resource teacher also use Powerpoint to explain the topic for makes students easier to understand.
Authentic Assesment Used by The Teacher
In assesing students, every aspect are considered as the score of the students, from individual work to group work. Even to assess the group, the teacher must assess and make sure all members of group are participating. The teachers make an assessment rubric to make it easier for themselves to assess student assignments.
